Wood is biodegradable. Despite our best craftsmanship, we cannot control how nature affects organic material over decades. Our 5-Year Warranty covers structural failures, giving you peace of mind that the deck is built solid.
In many cases, yes! The framing we use is built to last. Down the road, you could potentially remove the wood top boards and upgrade to composite decking (though it's usually cheaper to do composite from the start).
